Snow condition
Since our last visit two weeks ago, the foehn has brought a lot of snow and reduced the total amount of snow somewhat. Nevertheless, you can still tackle the variants quite easily and, with a little caution on the edges of the terrain, you can almost completely avoid coming into contact with rocks.
Snow quality
Cold, fluffy snow, 20 cm +x, fell overnight without the influence of wind. Excellent skiing in areas sheltered from the wind. During the course of the day, the southerly wind became stronger and stronger and the snow got a light wind cover in the wind corridors. Nevertheless, it was still easy to ski.
Risks
Very tricky! With the increasingly strong southerly wind, considerable amounts of snow were transported. Around midday, cracks appeared immediately in the wind corridors, even in quite flat terrain, with little additional load (one skier)!
Overall impression
Arrived without great expectations and had a great day with super snow and sunshine. With the wind getting stronger and stronger and the avalanche situation consequently tense, we ended the day around midday.
