Spring tour to the Imbachhorn

Snow condition
Still okay. At the start at 800m, you were soon able to strap on your skis. Especially in the forest, however, you had to carry your skis a bit a few times. But it will probably get a lot worse relatively soon. Further up it was good, a little sad for February.
Snow quality
Everything: firn, hard snow, a bit of powder and icy. But not too bad overall.
Risks
The day's progress was noticeable. When we were already on the second ascent, a lot of wet snow fell on the south-facing slope before noon, right up to the ascent track that leads to the first summit. I wouldn't have wanted to be there.
Overall impression
All in all, a very fine day with dream weather, despite only mediocre snow quality. The summit had been on my list for a long time and fulfilled all my expectations in terms of views, terrain and effort.
