The snow conditions are pretty poor, that's for sure. But compared to the same time last year, it looks much better! The crevasses under the summit lift have also improved in comparison. It is possible to ski down to the Alpincenter. Theresa went up to the Maurer (not yet in operation) with her skins in the afternoon, where she even found good, settled powder. Overall, however, off-piste skiing is only possible to a very limited extent. The park (currently only at the top) is already very good, lots of rails, boxes and also 2 kickers!

In the terrain: powder at the top, increasingly hard or slushy towards the bottom. With good timing, you could probably catch some firn. On the piste: Hard at the top, but still grippy. At the bottom of the Alpincenter it becomes slushy as it warms up.

Risks

Danger from stones, falls and crevasses far greater than avalanche danger.

Nice day on the Kitz, perfect weather and few people!
I'll be going up again on Thursday, anyone who wants to come along is welcome to get in touch ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
