Snow condition
The amount of snow is quite manageable. At the Schmiedingerkees, the T-bar lifts are running except for the Maurerlift and the descent to the Alpincenter works thanks to modern technology. Last year, on almost the same day, it looked a lot more like winter.
Snow quality
Thanks to the temperatures in the plus range, the snow was already pleasantly soft to drive on in the morning, no ice party.
Risks
Stones, crevices and other riders pose a danger. Off-road riding is currently not possible.
Overall impression
Always nice to make the first turns of a new season. It's not really worth it yet, so we decided to go bouldering again in the afternoon.
