Snow condition

50 cm fresh snow
Stone Contact avoidable

There was around 50 cm of fresh snow overnight. Unfortunately, there is still no base in alpine terrain. A lot more fresh snow is needed for serious off-piste activities.

Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Beautiful powder snow on the piste. The glacier ice was not noticeable today. The influence of the wind was visible when looking into the still snow-poor terrain.

Risks

Crevasse or fall danger
Much fresh snow
South-West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Some of the fresh snow is not well connected to the old snow cover. Numerous smaller loose snow slides from steeper terrain could be seen from the slopes.

A beautiful start to the season with natural snow. Simply a wonderful feeling to be on skis again. I wish everyone an accident-free, snowy season without lockdown!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
