In the meantime, it has become a little more wintry on the Kitz. Off-piste runs are still very limited. On the Schmiedingerkees you can make a few turns on piste-like terrain. Stones dominate below 2400m. Places exposed to the wind are free of snow.

Snow with good grip on the pistes and also on piste-like terrain, as well as some slab powder in places.
Risks
As off-piste skiing is still hardly possible, the main danger comes from stones, crevasses and other skiers. The first cornices are slowly forming on the ridges. The wind tracks from last week are also clearly visible.
Overall impression
Good visibility and no massive crowds in the first few hours, but this changed around midday and it was time to go.
