Back on the Kitz today! Good snow conditions! Visibility getting worse as the day progresses...

The descent is now possible as far as Langwied. Some people already ride off-road there. But this is definitely NOT recommended. Otherwise, you can make a few powder turns with a little knowledge of the terrain and stone skis. The snow depths vary depending on the wind...
Snow quality
Approx. 20-30 CM of fresh snow. Pleasant with wind influence at cold temperatures. Mostly really good to ride and a dream for this time of year anyway!
Risks
The wind has already blown a lot of snow up there and the cold temperatures have prevented it from settling. The snow is brittle and the snow packs can easily be touched. Some cracks form when driving and there are even occasional rumbling noises. Avoid steep, blown-in areas at all costs!
Overall impression
Unfortunately, visibility deteriorated as the day progressed (foehn clouds and therefore very flat light). But all in all it was another good day. The slopes are going really well and there is already a base in the terrain. The crowd got lost quite well today!
