Snow report Kitzsteinhorn, 11/15/2013
Sonne satt, dafür viele Menschen und überschaubare Möglichkeiten.

Snow condition
Hardly any change in the snow conditions compared to the previous week. Only a few centimetres were added during the week.
Snow quality
Significantly worse than a week ago. This is mainly due to the fact that everything is now rutted and sometimes very similar to a slope. Where no tracks have been made, it's still good enough for 2 stars. The temperatures were above 0°C today thanks to the inversion weather conditions, which is not good for the snow quality either.
Risks
The wind blew hard last week and left some traces behind. On the lee side, some small snow slabs have come off (blasting or self-triggered). The snow slab from the link (see CR from last week) is already a considerable size and luckily nothing worse happened. Be careful!
Overall impression
Blue skies, plenty of sunshine and lots of people on the glacier. The quality of the white gold also has significant upward potential again. Fortunately, several ski resorts will be opening soon and you can escape the crowds on the Kitzsteinhorn. Very highly motivated people can still find two turns in the untracked terrain.
