Good snow conditions! Everything skiable without enemy contact. Ridge and crests blown clear today...
Snow quality
Very strong southerly wind this morning. The upper gondola section could not go into operation and the tugs were in operation until 11:30. Most of the snow was heavily wind-packed. Where the snow was deposited, it was sometimes very deep but still firm.
Risks
Very tense. As I said, strong winds are blowing the very cold snow. Where the snow comes to rest, it lies quite high and is under tension. Occasional self-releasing in gullies. But we didn't really see anything to be able to judge that better.
Overall impression
Really lousy today. We were forced to go up for training, otherwise I wouldn't have gone up there today...
