Better than nothing!

Snow condition
The snow conditions were much better a few weeks ago. The foehn has done a great job in a negative sense. Significantly more ground contact than a few weeks ago. Only controlled offensive driving is advisable.
Snow quality
Well, partly quite soft, partly frozen or with a wind cover. The average of 20 cm was nowhere near enough to have any real fun. A break through to the old snow cover was obligatory with almost every turn. As the day progressed, the snow became much heavier in the eastern exposure.
Risks
Partly scabbling due to the wind influence of the last few days - especially in the north-east sector. Occasionally you could see loose snow. You should proceed with caution on steeper terrain. From midday onwards, the southerly wind became stronger with snow drifting in the wind corridors.
Overall impression
Better than nothing. More than a lot of people out and about. After a very short time, the off-piste terrain was completely tracked, and from the afternoon it was even similar to a piste. It was noticeable today that many people were presented with new outfits and wide rocker slats and, of course, a GoPro on their helmets, but the Christ Child skimped on the necessary safety equipment.
