Overall impression
Snow condition
Downhill runs in the rear Walsertal valley still possible without ground contact. The snow line fluctuated between 900 - 1400 meters yesterday. From 1600 meters there was some 15 - 25 cm of fresh snow.
Snow quality
below 1400 - 1500 meters rather a flop of a few cm on hard ground. Above that, good to very good powder. Fresh snow came with winds of 35 - 45 km/h according to measuring stations. Therefore fresh snow somewhat influenced by the wind. Tip top in areas with calm winds.
Risks
Troughs and gullies are tricky areas where snow has been dumped. Fresh snow with some wind was deposited on firm to hard surfaces. Isolated loose snow slides could be observed.
Overall impression
Above 1700 meters good to very good. We were primarily in the northern expos where we found good conditions. Below that it was nothing.
