Descents down to the valley still possible (east/north/west slopes). On the mountain, over 2000 m above sea level, there is about 90 cm of snow (if the wind hasn't blown the snow off)

The snow conditions varied depending on the altitude. But all in all, the "off-road" conditions were bad. Up to 1200 broken harsch, sometimes really nasty to ride, sometimes carrying or easy to plow through. There were even a few powder snow slopes to be found. In the valleys, the snow was rather soft

Risks

As usual; avalanches have already occurred in some gullies and steep slopes. There was already strong wind on the mountain around midday. The drift snow deposits in hollows and gullies are and remain tricky

You shouldn't worry about what the rain has ruined. Just make the best of it, be happy and carve a few stylistic turns through the broken snow. Anyone can ski on the powdery hut slope....

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
