Yesterday the weather changed punctually at 8:00 am. Rain / snow / wind, snow line 1000 meters where 2 cm remained. Above 1500 meters 5 - 10 cm of fresh snow arrived. Descents into the valley still possible without ground contact. Except on the south side.

Snow quality

Below 1500 meters offpist pretty modest. Nasty hardpack on top. Only above 1600 - 1700 meters in wind-calmed areas, primarily in the northern expos, still nice powder to be found.

Risks

A few medium-sized avalanches came off the rocks yesterday. Avalanches also slid down steep grassy slopes (east). The accumulations of old and new snow are still tricky.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Unfortunately not so good. It's only further up that the music starts to play. That would be worth 3 stars in places. But on average it's only 2 stars. But the avalanche situation is relaxed. So you can try the one or other variant descent.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
