There is a lot of snow in the small Walser valley.

If you want untracked powder, you have to look for it. Good powder on the north side. Above 1300 meters this is still the best. Below that, hard crust with 10-20 powder. On the south side light to bad cover on top. Best still on the north side, it was ar... cold today but the snow was finest there. In the higher elevations it was partly covered by the wind.

Risks

Increasingly relaxed. Steeper slopes are now also possible - sluff management. Ground snow avalanches have already come loose in isolated cases. Isolated cracks in the snowpack.

So for my few hours in the powder after work, I would have given it 4-5 stars. As a lot has already been skied and plowed over and exposure with poorer snow conditions is also included. That leaves an average of 3 stars

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
