Blown backs
Variations of snow cover

In places you could give it 2 stars, but all in all it was bad. It's better to walk in the forest. Steep sunny slopes are only partially covered with snow. Rocky terrain should be avoided. I was just able to climb up to the summit and ski down again. Some of the steep steps look very bad, so I think crampons might be an option.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Firn
Powder snow
Jelly snow

A fun mix. Firn, various types of very thin caps and ice slabs with sugar snow or hot powder underneath. In the shade, partly completely built-up "powder". Really fun to ride with one board.

Risks

Old snow problem
Crevasse or fall danger
West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Fortunately, old snow in sunny expos is not such a problem. But sharks are.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Better

Hoped that the reports of not so bad snow were true and lo and behold, they are. Although the good areas are quite small due to the snow conditions and the way there often involves bad snow, you can definitely have fun there.

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
