We were able to observe several self-releases, as soon as the terrain became steeper than 30°, cracks formed in the snowpack, some of which were considerable in size, eCt revealed several easily disturbed weak layers in the snowpack. Although we had a very defensive choice of route, we still had to turn around...
Overall impression
if the avalanche situation eases, it could be good for the first time this season ;-)
