Snow conditions are much better than in the Nagelfluhkette. From the Ifen you can ski from 1300m upwards through a rather wintry Schwarzwassertal. Without sunshine on the northern slopes between walmi and Grünhorn, the tourer will find acceptable bases here. In the forest, however, the base becomes sparser here too

Powder snow throughout the descent, but unfortunately already very rutted, few untracked areas remain, these are all the more dusty. All other expos are probably bad. On the south side, it looks partly apery

Risks

Sliding snow mouth in the steep north slope below the saddle to Ochsenhöfer Köpfle. Otherwise it seemed safe to me. In the valley ascent at the edge of the path a lot of surface frost. Nothing like this was observed further up in the forest... But I would keep it in mind.

You have to look for pow, but it's there. A few hidden north-facing gullies in the far Kleinwalsertal still looked good...but supplies are already on their way.
