Too much, too late, too everything... (Ski tour from Baad)

Overall impression
Snow condition
It looks wintry again. The snow conditions are still below average. Who knows what the southern sides looked like...There was about 30-40cm of fresh snow (some may crow: "WAAAAASSSSSSS???? Loose one METER!!!!").Above the tree line and on open areas there is less than in the forest due to the strong wind influence.
Snow quality
The beautiful white looks very good. But it's very crappy to drive. The track work sucked. Uphill the skin stumbles, downhill the ski (!). At the bottom, soaked fresh snow, at the top, wind-influenced wet fresh snow on a hard layer of old snow. The ridges above the tree line are almost snow-free in places, making skiing less pleasant with zero ground visibility.
Risks
LLB level 2, above 1800 m level 3. I would also give it a 3 at the bottom because of the heavily soaked snowpack. Very large bolls roll off immediately and the snowpack is almost rotten. The wind was in at the top. Very, very large cornices are hanging from the ridges, making it very tricky and difficult to assess. It won't get any better tomorrow with the foehn.
Overall impression
Two stars just because there are worse days. I was too late (couldn't get there earlier), there was too much snow and the temperatures were too high. Started when visibility was good, stood on the slope when visibility was poor and vice versa, back at the car when the sun was shining. Joys and sorrows are often close together. 2-3 hours earlier - and I'm probably reporting on a great day here - others were certainly luckier today, perhaps even in the corner. Unfortunately it was nothing for me. But the beer afterwards still tasted good.
