Descent to the valley possible without any problems. However, one wonders where all the fresh snow of the last few days has gone. So it's time for a fresh supply, hopefully without wind this time.

Wind drifted snow

Better than expected, really powdery snow at the top. Underneath, either settled powder snow or a 2-5 cm thick crust of drift snow.

Risks

Fresh avalanches
North South-West West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

The main danger is likely to be the classic slab avalanches. The situation report from lwd Bavaria was also much more relaxed than the Tyrolean report. In general, the snow cover made a stable impression if you avoid the clearly visible danger spots.

Worse

Much better than expected. It was a great tour and there were some nice turns too. With the upcoming wind and new snow, the danger will increase significantly again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
