As usual, exposed in parts nothing, protected a lot. You always find a good route down. Latschen not yet completely closed.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Highly dependent on exposure. Everything from powder (always with a bit of wind) to melting hardpack. Summit slope S quite exposed and only a little damp powder on hard crust. It is best to carry crampons.

Wind drifted snow

North North-Eas East West North-West

Intensity: medium

Risks

Crevasse or fall danger
Diurnal warming
South

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Drift snow was very easy to trigger in the shade. Saw several slides. But mostly too small to become a real avalanche. Danger of falling, as stated in the LLB, probably higher.

Overall impression

Worse

Not the best destination for powder today, but escaped the crowds.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
