Overall impression
Snow condition
Quite high starting point, therefore also very good at the bottom
Snow quality
Wind-influenced powder on the shaded side. Otherwise you'll often find cover that thaws depending on the expo. Where it gets completely wet during the day, it was completely frozen in the morning. Very unpleasant on the ascent, you should have crampons with you.
Risks
I didn't quite understand why the Allgäu LLB had already issued a 3 in all expos below 2200m in the morning... Sliding snow (Am Elfer, picture 5; access Rappenseehütte, picture 1) and wet snow (avalanche in SW at Linkerskopf, picture 1) are the problems, but can be kept within limits with good planning. Otherwise stable, nothing observed. Even very steep stuff is possible now, e.g. the Elferrinne has already been skied, there was some wind today, snow plumes were partially visible on the summits. But as the remaining powder has settled a lot, drifting snow should no longer be a problem.
Overall impression
Powder found, sun and only one other ski tourer. Even though the ascent was quite a pain in parts, it was worth it.
