Overall impression
Snow condition
Compared to the Tannheimer Tal yesterday, there is enough snow in the rear Kleinwalsertal - descents down to the valley are possible. Wind has swept away some of the snow in the summit areas. Enough snow in windless areas Overnight there was another 5-10 cm of fresh snow / crispy snow
Snow quality
Varies - in windless areas in the east and north expos above 1500 meters tip top snow. Where wind and sun had an influence, snow was capped and already blunt
Risks
In the summit areas, watch out for drift snow deposits and be careful in steep, overgrown gullies.
Overall impression
Kleinwalsertal is always worth a tour this year - at the moment you can still find untracked with nice snow. Pictures (c) Martin Hölle Photography
