Good start from the parking lot. Southwest flank already heavily snowed out, but passable throughout, couloir below impassable due to avalanche snow, avoid steep forest.

Absolute top firn at 12 o'clock. We waited 2 hours for this at the summit, in an unpleasantly strong and cold foehn wind.

Risks

Non-critical until 12 noon, maybe even until 1.30 p.m. Good radiation.

Dream day and dream tour. Only the steep forest could be better. Too bad that the couloir to the left of it, in the direction of ascent, is not skiable. Three and a half hours of ascent at a very leisurely pace is enough in the current conditions. So a start after 8 would be good for the next few days. But it will quickly become less with enough snow... Maybe another 3 days top. No mistakes should be made on the ascent on frozen snow cover in 45 degree terrain. Last week I skied the Elferrinne in powder in freezing cold, today dream firn opposite, now it could be winter again because of me...
First 6 tourers up this winter, several winters in recent years without an entry in the summit book...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
