It's slowly getting scarce on the south side. Especially on the steeper slopes, the sun is really beating down, and a lot of snow will be lost here over the next few days too.

TOP firn and slush today. Late start after 12 possible due to colder temperatures, LLB all day a one. Departure at 15.00. From tomorrow I would be back much earlier...
Risks
See above, LLB 1. The south-facing steep section on the Ifen was also still possible at 14.00 in good snow, no swamp or collapse. I would have turned back here if I had had a bad feeling.
Overall impression
Nice tour, as it's anti-cyclical. So I got a parking space at the Auenhuette again at 12.00, 15 euros. Most of the cars on the street had a parking ticket, even those that had bought a parking permit... So it's no use...
