Snow condition

Mostly carefree riding at the top, we only had one slope today where some ground came to light, below about 1400m it is too little to ride sensibly off-road.

Snow quality

About 20cm of fresh snow. Feather-light snow in places in the morning, very good skiing everywhere. Deduction in the B grade for old tracks, which you could feel in places. In the afternoon the snow got a bit damp, but was still great to ski.

Risks

We didn't really make any relevant observations in this respect, and were only out and about for a short time in terrain steeper than 30 degrees, but it was clear from the LLB and the weather of the last few days that we weren't skiing anything seriously steep. Drift snow close to the ridge and drifts in gullies were clearly visible.

Overall impression

Very nice conditions for easy cruising today. In the pictures it looks even better than it was, due to the light wind the powder stayed in the air for quite a long time.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
