Descent to valley (to 1200 m)

You can almost reach the valley on rolled paths. On the flat, the last remnants thaw away below 1400 today. Above 1700 it's ok.

Snow quality

Wet snow
Slush
Firn
Powder snow
Jelly snow

In northern expos still up to 1600 powder snow, partly light wind influence and getting through to a crust that is load-bearing but not very hard. Glop quickly underneath. At 20° in the valley already very good! SO already early sulz, for real firn the snowpack has to soak even more. Whole ascent possible without crampons

Risks

Crevasse or fall danger
Diurnal warming
South-East South

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

You should not stay under sunlit walls. Otherwise, safe conditions, taking into account the diurnal cycle.

Overall impression

Worse

After not daring to do it last time, I went through with it today and descended into the gully. I get a personal extra star for that. Plus big turns in the powder and great deep views. Deductions in the B grade for the shark attacks at the bottom and the Sucuk-Pide, which vehemently made it clear on the ascent that it wanted to get out...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
