Exposition
Snow condition
Descent to the parking lot possible on the old slope. At around 1700m, one slope of the piste has some large patches of loose snow and for a few meters it is only wide enough to step off, otherwise quite problem-free. At the top of the plateau there are also snowbanks wide enough for several tracks next to each other.
Video
Snow quality
The few cm of fresh snow on the plateau slowed things down a bit - see "skiing errors" in the video, that was often the case. After slipping through in the shade, a few good turns on grippy snow, then very damp and slowing down to the piste. All in all, not outstanding, but good :-)
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
When we were in the ascent, a loud noise came from the rocks, but we couldn't see exactly what it was because of the clouds.
Overall impression
Great atmosphere and some good turns, great trip with my colleague schneerudi! Probably the best option at the moment if the journey isn't too long.
