15 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1200 m)

All in all, the fresh snow is only cosmetic. On the south side there is only fresh snow up to 1500m. In the other expos, it's enough to ski carefully down to 1200m. You should be careful everywhere.

Breakable crust
Powder snow

The fresh snow (15cm) is of the finest quality. Up to 1800 there is a crust under the fresh snow, which becomes less and less above 1800. This breaks at least on the ascent. On the descent it only disturbs a little below 1700. But easy with a splitboard. The best slope today was on the east side. No crust and due to the protected location up to 30 fresh snow. For the first time this winter you could really step on the gas!

Risks

Old snow problem
Fresh avalanches

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

There was nothing critical to observe for the moment in the area where I was traveling. Just a small avalanche of sliding snow, which probably came down during the snowfall. If you want to go higher, you should stick to the LLB. And in shady corners there's already good surface frost again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
