der Versuch einer Skitour...aber mit so wenig Schnee bleibt es eben nur ein Versuch. Von Rietzlern aus bis auf 1500 Meter die Ski getragen, dann auf noch gesperrten Talbafahrt mit Kunstschnee Auflage ins Skigebiet auf die Kanzelwand.

Snow condition
From 1000 m north a few mm to cm of snow Above 2000 m = 20 / 30 cm of snow without a significant base. Almost snow-free on the south side up to almost 1700 m.
Snow quality
Only 3 pistes / ski lifts are in operation in the Kanzelwand / Fellhorn ski areas. With moderate to good artificial snow cover. Otherwise, the natural snow was displaced by the Föhn storm and pressed by the wind.
Risks
as off-piste skiing makes absolutely no sense - no danger. However, due to the sometimes stormy wind, the snow has been displaced in many places. The above 1800 meters are prone to disturbances. If there should be some snow on Christmas Day, stay alert.
Overall impression
Even if the tourism association will stone me... hiking and cycling in the Kleinwalt valley and in the Allgäu is currently more fun than skiing on busy slopes with little artificial snow.
