In Oberdtdorf valley everything is green - Walsertal access road from 1000 m winter. From 1400 m upwards, snow depth is usable. Below that still poor.
Snow quality
Definitely 3 stars from 1400 to 1500 m. Already a crust on the sunny side. Good to very good powder on the north side in windless areas. Partly strong wind influence in the summit area. But a good view of the terrain and snow conditions, super nice slopes for skiing.
Risks
During the course of the day, several medium-sized avalanches have already occurred on steep grassy slopes to the south. There is still a risk of snow displacement in steep gullies and slopes above the tree line.
Overall impression
Not bad. The slopes I got under skis would almost get 4 stars. But 3 stars is definitely justified. Good day with sun & powder snow.
