Snow condition

absolutely sufficient for ski tours. from baad onwards, everything is possible. approx. 30cm of well-set old snow. on top of that, quickly becoming more, fresh pow, in the summit area up to approx. 10cm.

Snow quality

since it was quite cold today, even in the sun, the pow held up well. we were traveling north and south. only a slightly disturbing cap, below 1500m. but that's complaining on a high level.

Risks

the vorarlberg 2er went ok today. you can see some gliding snow everywhere and a gliding snow avalanche probably went over the ascent track yesterday, but you can make the lingering area there very short. i didn't notice any major drift snow deposits anywhere.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

today absolutely 4th. great weather, great snow, great snow conditions and finally an area where you can go ski touring the way it should be !!!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
