Quite decent at altitude now. You have to be a bit careful in the forest and far below, especially on the tracks, but it's fine. Apart from that, we were able to accelerate without hesitation today, for me the first time this season :-) The snow line was considerably higher than predicted by Bergfex, the precipitation only came down completely as snow from around 1200 meters.
Snow quality
30-40 cm of fresh snow on the summits. Slightly damp at the top, more and more towards the bottom. But easy to ride everywhere and really fun, as it is homogeneous.
Risks
The fresh snow bonded quite well with the hard/icy layer underneath due to the moisture. However, wind was involved, which is difficult to see as the last 10cm came without wind. On slopes above 40 degrees, there were already small self-released snow slabs.
Overall impression
It was great fun :-) Our expectations were clearly exceeded, we had untracked, fun runs with always enough visibility and not as disgusting weather as forecast.
