Variations of snow cover

You can ski down in snow-covered hollows/channels and regularly rutted terrain without coming into contact with stones and you can also accelerate a little without fear. High jumps and steeper lines away from the main corridors should be thought about twice or three times. This applies to the north side. Nothing works on the south side

Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Partly dust on crust, partly nice powder. Despite some signs of wind, the snow was still relatively unbound. Unfortunately, there was only about 5cm of fresh snow

Risks

Old snow problem
Fresh avalanches
North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

A few medium-sized blast sequences visible, as well as fresh loose snow avalanches in extremely steep terrain. Accumulations of drift snow and the old snow problem still require restraint, even if steep minigolf lines in glistening powder are very tempting. But nasty rocks still lurk beneath the sugar in many places.

Avalanche activity

North-West

Dry loose snow avalanche

Altitude: 2200 m

Even triggered loose snow avalanches are visible, which can be quite problematic due to the stony base or in fall terrain.

Overall impression

Better

Fun day with a bit of fresh sugar. Still feels like early winter though.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
