Exposition
Snow condition
Still good for the middle of June and definitely above average compared to the last few years, normally you can still enjoy snow conditions like this at the end of May. Nevertheless, in the last two weeks, the snow has reduced really quickly in the trenches of the former pistes right up to (almost) the road. There is still plenty of snow further up, but you still have to stick to cirques, ditches etc. in many cases.
Snow quality
Nice summer snow in the meantime, so you don't have to leave so early. Depending on the exposure, suncups are slowly becoming a nuisance, but all in all quite nice. There may still be skier's firn much higher up, but we only climbed up to the top station, at this altitude (and a good bit above) it's no longer an issue.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Summer snow, so the danger is manageable. Further up on steeper terrain, you may need to pay attention to the daytime warming.
Overall impression
Ski tours will certainly be worthwhile for a few more days, so the situation will certainly remain the same in the short term. With the predicted very warm temperatures, the carrying passages and restrictions in the choice of route will certainly get longer quickly, especially below 2500m. So you should probably start looking for a higher starting point.
