"A little bit of something always works..." and by "always" in this case we mean artificial snow slopes with some grip. Outside of this, you can ascend in the terrain, but the descent only makes sense in two areas: either in absolutely shady slopes where there is only a light cover or in sunny slopes where the cover softens during the course of the day. Both are only recommended with stone skis...
