Pulver und Sonnenschein im besten "Skigebiet" der Welt
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Saturday below the first pillar of P1 still all green, above it spring conditions. 30 cm of powder snow improve the situation considerably. In the morning you can even reach the valley. Almost everything is skiable at the top without rock contact.
Snow quality
30 cm of fresh powder snow, fantastic to ski but unfortunately very quickly tracked. Above 2500m the snow remained fluffy even in the afternoon despite the sun. Couloirs on the north side in great conditions, crevasses are now well covered in snow
Risks
Despite a 4, there was no stopping for some. Le Pan and the Y-Couloir were skied as well as the Glacier de la Meije. From midday onwards, avalanches could be observed every minute on the rocks below la Meije. As so often, nothing happened.
Overall impression
One of the best days of the season in la Grave. Accordingly, there was a lot going on with corresponding waiting times. Nevertheless, it's always worth making a detour here. Especially on days like this. Let's hope the season lasts a while longerHere's a little traffic informationThe Chambon Tunnel is closed for the rest of the season due to repairs (Google Maps suggests a detour via Gap-Briancon) Don't be put off by this. There is an emergency route on the other side of the Lac du ChambonMore information on http://meteo05.sepcs.fr/bulletin/lautaret.htm
