Basically, the entire range of snow imaginable could be found. With a bit of a feel for snow and terrain, however, it was possible to ski mostly in firn or built-up powder. What more could you want!

Escape the old snow problem with a south-facing tour.
Overall impression
Beautiful spring tour which gave us much better snow conditions than expected on the descent.
