Absolutely sufficient, from PP carry approx. 300m, then snow-covered road to Kasermandl. The descent is already relatively rocky, old skis are recommended. Further up, on the "gorge section" to the Hermann von Barth Hütte, unbuckle again briefly for 200m. Otherwise, everything is easily doable on skis.

Today we found everything, from snow-covered slopes and icy steep slopes to fantastic powder snow and great "Januarfirn", depending on the slope exposure and time of day, you have the choice.

Risks

Very relaxed. It only "superficially" firned up. Underneath it was also in Expo. S-W, there was always a load-bearing snow cover. There was no race with the sun, so the timing was rather "depth-relaxed".

A really great ski tour. What the Panico Lechtal guide says is true: Demanding, but very varied. Great landscape, sensational weather. For today's good conditions, a very good choice.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
