Snow condition
Not exactly abundant, unfortunately. There is only good snow cover from about 2000m upwards. Below that, you have to reckon with stone contact, on the south side you have to look for the snow more ..... We preferred to carry our skis for the last few meters, but the descent is just about possible with stone skis.
Snow quality
Above 2000m, well-set powder snow in the shade. Very crusty snow below 2000m. Typical spring conditions on the sunny side.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Fairly stable conditions, only in very steep terrain above 2400m is there still a risk of drift snowbreaks according to the LLB. Otherwise there is a risk of falling due to stones that are just covered in snow.
Overall impression
Beautiful tour in the Lechtal. Unfortunately there was much less snow than expected. The starting altitude should be at least 1500m at the moment, otherwise the descent will be a bit tricky.
