Avalanche warning level

moderate (2)

Exposition

North North-Eas

Snow condition

40 cm fresh snow
Stone Contact avoidable

Not enough below 1700 meters in any case. It's quite small-scale: on steep meadows there's sometimes just the newly fallen snow, on flatter terrain there's a bit of a base - but definitely not enough to really release the handbrake. Above 1700 on the north side quite good :-)

Powder snow

Wow! Top 30-40cm faster, fluffier Pow :-)

Risks

Woom- or hissing noise
North

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Quite windy today, in connection with the amount of fresh snow in the really alpine region, certainly not without its problems. But we were surprised today how little visible snow cover there was up to 1900/2000 meters. At 1700, after a small jump by me, the entire snow cover settled by about 2 cm.

Overall impression

Worse

Above 1700 meters at least 4 stars. Below that, unfortunately only two due to a lack of foundation. I have never seen many slopes with so little snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
