Snow report Lech Valley, 01/23/2026
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Altitude
1300 - 2400m
Avalanche warning level
moderate (2)
Exposition
Snow condition
Bad, of course. But not as bad as I feared. You can ski. But the risk of stone contact cannot be completely eliminated. The mountain pines are of course barely covered, which limits the tours in the Lech Valley.
Snow quality
Partly very nicely built-up soft snow. Short-term change to wind-pressed again and again, but can be anticipated quite well.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Diffuse old snow situation. Nothing has moved in our profiles, but the weak layer will still be dormant somewhere.
Overall impression
Much better than expected. But I also thought it would be complete gruel. Quite nice in that respect :)

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
