Descent to valley (to 1100 m)

The road to the Ehenbichler Alm was still possible today without strapping on. In some places, however, there was only a few centimetres of snow. In the forest above the Ehenbichler Alm some fine contact, above that sufficient but not abundant snow along the ascent route. On the south side of Galtjoch there are already larger patches of loose snow.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Jelly snow

Good riding, but not a huge pleasure. Wind-pressed on the north side, softened a few centimeters deep on the sunny side around midday.

Risks

No warning signs
South-East South South-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

No particular anomalies, well-settled snow cover

Nice tour in great weather, no highlights in terms of skiing but ok. Personal highlight as first off-piste tour after 2 winters of injury :-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
