Absolutely sufficient. From PP, no rock contact on the ascent and descent. Where watercourses cross the route, you sometimes have to unbuckle. Otherwise lots of snow throughout, in the Namlos area.
Snow quality
Better than expected. We were expecting broken snow. On the north side up to approx. 2300m, however, there was a continuous, stable cover with a changing surface. There was everything from crumbling crust to "heavy powder", but everything was rideable.
Risks
The 2, for the area, is fine. No signs of avalanches observed.
Overall impression
Snow conditions very good. Snow quality rather below average. Sensational weather. Great tour.
The day was definitely worth three stars today. For me even 3.5 stars ... Pictures 2 and 5 show the current conditions at the key points of the tour.
