Less snow than a week ago. After the rain has already taken away a lot, the fresh snow of the last few days has come with so much wind that there is not much left. 0-10cm of powder snow on an icy crust.

Where fresh snow can be found, the snow is loosely packed. Ridges, ridges and moguls are protected and icy or without any snow at all. Due to the avalanche situation, I wanted to head into the terrain close to the slopes. Overnight, however, a lot of crusty snow was produced, which made the areas next to the pistes inedible.

Risks

Due to the high avalanche risk, I was only out and about near the pistes. In the terrain you can see old sliding snow avalanches from the rainy period. The fresh snow has been transported. An avalanche spontaneously came down from steep rocks.

Two points for the sunshine. The snow looks better than it is. It's no good for freeriding at the moment. Once the avalanche situation has calmed down, you might be able to find a nice tour.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
