Ski tour Elmer Muttekopf from the road still doable with skis. The descent in the forest on the forest road is doable with great care, but already rocky. The summit area is blown up and the last 50 m on foot to the summit is snow-free on the south side.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Powder snow
Summer snow

run-in like a piste. Still powdery on the north side, sunny slopes very poor...melt crust, deep frozen tracks, ice bumps - a struggle. Very good conditions in north-facing gullies and powdery/grippy.

Risks

No warning signs
South-East South South-West

Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)

Strong wind from the south. No fresh accumulations of drift snow - there is simply nothing left that can fade and everything is rather hard.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Brilliant day, brilliant steep lines with good snow in gullies possible. The rest merged and/or bad snow on the sunny side.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
