Walking at 1,350m, everything white and plenty of snow on the north - opposite on steep south-facing slopes, partly bare. Stones are almost (!) all snowed in. The last snowfall here was heavier than in the foothills of the Alps, less than in Hinterriss Karwendel.

Snow quality

On north, northeast strongly set Pow, on our round without cover. Fine. One entry point on the ridge was quite icy due to previous skiers sliding down. Also partly icy on the skintrack - changes with the forecast weather change.

Risks

2s, had not seen any particular danger signs. Old snow planks with icy blocks, somewhat snow-covered, are dangerous at high speed, and older snow planks were spotted on a west-facing steep slope - see photo.

Overall impression

Great round, unfortunately the one big cirque was already rather last line-like. The narrow gully too, but sun, snow and friends at the start: perfect anyway.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
