Snow condition

This year there is little snow in the Lechtal - but there is already more. Descent into the valley still possible in places. South side already completely snow-free in places. North side ok

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Spring conditions - hard frozen in the morning - in a short time window (depending on altitude and exposure) the snow cover turns into beautiful firn. On the north side above 2100 m altitude without wind influence set powder - with wind = slab powder

Risks

Very relaxed - but be careful on steep shaded slopes, weak layers are critical. We also had to shorten one slope - slight cracks visible under additional load

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Much better than expected for this tour - the descent from the summit is passable throughout. But the high temperatures are gnawing away at the snow cover. Great weather - pleasant temperatures and super descents. So another 3 stars

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
