Snow condition

South-facing slopes in the valleys already free of snow but otherwise still plenty of snow with descents down to the valley still possible

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Snow quality has decreased significantly. Due to the rain on Thursday up to 1700 meters. Snow cover in valley areas heavily soaked. Above 1700 meters a few cm of fresh snow on hard cover. Above 2000 meters on the sunny side only late firn. Some wind-compressed powder on the north side - good skiing with a bit of smack.

Risks

Actually very relaxed - but danger comes from the soaked snow cover up to 1700 meters. Daytime warming adds additional weight - heavy sliding snow avalanches can come loose. Early tour start obligatory

Good tour with a good whistle ....not only due to the strong wind today but also due to the great north run with good snow and great optics -> Image (c) Bilder Martin Hölle Photographie

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
