Still sufficient on the north side. Otherwise not too lush, but you can reach the valley without carrying your skis

Snow quality

During the last snowfall from Tuesday to Wednesday, there was significantly less snow in the Lech Valley than in the Allgäu or Kleines Walsertal. Today there was not a flower pot to be had. On the sunny side, there was no firn, just a heavily soaked blanket of snow including cardboard snow - on the north side, the strong foehn wind caused snow drifts, i.e. no snow = hard crust or snow that was well compacted. Only on wind-calmed slopes could you harvest a few nice turns.

Risks

Above the tree line, drift snow accumulations were caused by foehn winds. Triggered a slide myself. Not wild could still ski out well.....

No comparison to the previous day. We missed our target by a long way but still spent a few hours in the fresh air and snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
