Snow condition
Ski tour to the Thaneller is still easy with skis from the parking lot. Lots of snow in the cirque, exit to the saddle either with skins or in good footprints without any problems. Lots of snow in the north gully, steep sections and bottlenecks all very easy to ski.
Snow quality
Everything was there today: some nice powder on the north side (if you've found an untracked spot); the gully was soft and grippy, the bottom was still frozen hard in places and later on it was slushy. Thanks to soft snow and a soft base, the gully was still great to ski.
Risks
Overall impression
Still managed a few powder turns where there was no chop. Chute is still very easy to ski despite heavy use.
